The Wenatchee Wild has acquired 2001-born Alexandre Danis from the Swan Valley Stampeders of the MJHL for 2001-born defenseman Jerrett Overland.
Danis, who’s from Calgary, AB, had seven goals and 14 points in nine games with the Stampeders during the 2020-21 season before it was shut down due to COVID-19 restrictions. He then joined the USPHL Premier’s Pueblo Bulls.
In three games with the Bulls, Danis posted four goals and an assist. He added three goals and three assists in five USPHL Premier playoff games as well. He had 12 points in 48 games as a rookie with Lloydminster of the Alberta Junior Hockey League in 2019-20.
Overland spent the 2020-21 season with the Jersey Hitmen of the National Collegiate Development Conference and tallied three assists in 13 games. The Air Force Academy commit for this fall notched a goal and six points in 50 BCHL games with Wenatchee as a rookie in 2019-20.
