The Powell River Kings have acquired 2002-born defenseman Hayden Tuba from the Surrey Eagles for future considerations.
Tuba going from the Eagles to the Kings fulfills the futures from the Feb. 24 deal that had 2001-born forward Jacob Slipec join Surrey.
The Richmond, BC product played 13 games for the Eagles during the pod season and had two assists. He made his BCHL debut last season, getting into three games with Coquitlam as an affiliate player.
Tuba spent most of 2019-20 with the Greater Vancouver Canadians U18 AAA of the BC U18 League, putting up two goals and eight points in 27 games.
