The Surrey Eagles have acquired 2001-born defenseman Cullen Ferguson from the Cowichan Valley Capitals.
Ferguson joining the Eagles completes the future considerations from a trade on Sept. 30, 2020 which saw 2001-born forward Sean Ramsay go to Cowichan Valley.
Ferguson spent the 2020-21 season with the Aberdeen Wings of the North American Hockey League and posted six goals and 21 points in 36 games.
He is committed to Union College for this September but as a 2001-born player, has one season of junior hockey eligibility remaining.
The product of Binbrook, ON put up a goal and 13 points in 56 games as a rookie with the Capitals in 2019-20. For his part, Ramsay finished this past season with two goals and seven points in 19 games for Cowichan Valley.
