The Nanaimo Clippers have acquired future considerations from the Brockville Braves of the Central Canada Hockey League for 2001-born defenseman Michael Palandra.
Palandra hails from Markham, ON and posted a goal and three assists in 15 games with the Clippers during the 2020-21 BC Hockey League season.
He committed to the Rochester Institute of Technology after putting up 25 points in 47 games with Aurora of the Ontario Junior Hockey League in 2018-19. Palandra notched 28 points in 51 games with the OJHL’s Brantford 99ers in 2019-20.
He was selected by Cedar Rapids in the 18th round of the 2019 US Hockey League Entry Draft. Palandra was also chosen by Flint in the seventh round of the 2017 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection.
