Vipers get commitments from three Chicago Mission U18 players
The Chicago Mission U18 midget team announced on Wednesday that three of its players had signed commitment letters with the Vernon Vipers.

17-year-old forward Daniel Rozsival, whose father Michal had a 963 game NHL career, has posted seven goals and five assists in 14 games with the Chicago Mission U18 team this season.

Forward Nicholas Remissong, 17, has four goals and four assists in 14 games with the Mission this season. He was selected in the seventh round, 241st overall by the Rochester Grizzlies in the 2019 NA3HL Draft.

The Vipers also got a commitment from 17-year-old defenceman Desmond Johnson. He has four goals and seven assists in 14 games with Chicago this season. Johnson has also played two games as an affiliate with the Springfield Jr. Blues of the NAHL.

Defenceman Zane Schartz (eight goals, 27 assists in 80 games with Surrey, West Kelowna and Trail from 2013-15) has signed with the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL for the remainder of the season. Schartz had five assists in 21 games with Fehérvári Titánok in the Erste Liga this season.

Defenceman Kevin Lohan (five goals, 18 assists in 54 games with Merritt in 2012-13) has been released by the San Diego Gulls of the AHL from his professional try-out contract. Lohan has a goal and five assists in 44 games this season with the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL. He didn’t play any games with the Gulls after signing the PTO last week.

Second Star: Salmon Arm forward Simon Tassy had three goals and an assist.
Third Star: Capitals forward Brady Lynn had a goal and an assist.
