Seven current BC Hockey League players are on NHL Central Scouting’s latest Players to Watch list for the 2022 NHL Draft, which was released on Tuesday.
All seven are rated as ‘C’ prospects, which means they are candidates to be selected in the fourth round or later.

Cowichan Valley Capitals forward Luke Haymes has committed to Dartmouth College. The Ottawa, ON product is set to head to the Ivy League school next September.
In five games with the Capitals this season, the 2003-born forward has posted one goal.

On Tuesday, the Prince George Spruce Kings announced the commitment of 2005-born defenseman Luke Schraeder for the 2022-23 BC Hockey League season.
The Kelowna, BC product is with Rink Hockey Academy Kelowna U18 of the Canadian Sport School Hockey League. In four games this season, he has a goal and an assist.
Halloran heads to Finland

24-year-old forward Nicholas Halloran (21 goals, 24 assists in 53 games with Trail in 2015-16) has signed with SaiPa of Liiga, which is the top level of hockey in Finland.
The Draper, UT product had a goal and eight points in 15 games with the Ontario Reign of the AHL in 2020-21, his first season as a professional after four years of NCAA hockey at Colorado College.
