Four BCHL alumni head to Tulsa’s training camp

Goaltender Daniel Mannella (1-2-0, 4.34 goals-against average, .830 save percentage in four games with West Kelowna from 2015-16) signed a standard player agreement with the ECHL’s Tulsa Oilers.
The 26-year-old from Woodbridge, ON did not play in 2020-21 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He last played in 2019-20 with St. Lawrence University, posting a 3-11-2 record, 3.30 goals-against average and .899 save percentage to go with one shutout.
Defenseman Jarod Hilderman (one goal, 13 assists in 94 games with Penticton from 2013-15) also signed a standard player agreement with the Oilers.
The 24-year-old from Calgary, AB spent the entire 2020-21 season with the Southern Professional Hockey League’s Birmingham Bulls, finishing with six assists in 41 games.
Defenseman Wyatt Trumbley (no points in seven games with Cowichan Valley and Penticton from 2011-12 and 2013-14) also signed a standard player agreement with Tulsa.
The 27-year-old from Campbell River, BC played 36 games with the Federal Prospects Hockey League’s Columbus River Dragons, scoring five goals and adding 15 assists. Trumbley also spent seven games with the Fayetteville Marksmen of the SPHL, collecting one assist.
Forward Logan Coomes (no points in 18 games with Coquitlam in 2014-15) also signed a standard player agreement with the Oilers.
The 24-year-old from Nashville, TN got into 38 games with the SPHL’s Macon Mayhem in 2020-21, scoring seven goals and adding 12 assists.

Forward Zach Court (35 goals, 69 assists in 168 games with Nanaimo and Merritt from 2015-17) has signed a standard player agreement with the ECHL’s Rapid City Rush.
The 24-year-old from Winnipeg, MB did not get into any games with the University of Alaska-Anchorage last season but spent the three seasons prior with the Seawolves, scoring once and adding eight assists through 48 games.

Goaltender Sean Bonar (38-15-0, 2.60 goals-against average, .908 save percentage, six shutouts in 59 games with Penticton from 2008-10) has signed a standard player agreement with the Mariners of Maine of the ECHL.
The 30-year-old product of Delta, BC was part of Kansas City, South Carolina, Indy, and Jacksonville in the ECHL before finishing his season in the UK’s Elite Ice Hockey League with the Manchester Storm. He was 5-7-0, with a 3.91 goals-against average, a .876 save percentage through 13 games in Manchester.

Defenseman Jordan Schneider (eight goals, 29 assists in 109 games with Langley from 2014-16) has re-signed with the ECHL’s Indy Fuel.
The 26-year-old from Toronto, ON scored two goals and added two assists in 14 games with the Fuel last season. He also played in three games with the Orlando Solar Bears.

Defenseman Bryce Reddick (22 goals, 52 assists in 110 games with Cowichan Valley from 2006-08) has re-signed with the ECHL’s Greenville Swamp Rabbits.
The 32-year-old from Las Vegas, NV, scored three times and added four assists through 38 games with the Swamp Rabbits in 2020-21.
