A trio of BCHL alumni sent from the AHL to the ECHL

Defenseman Yanni Kaldis (18 goals, 92 assists in 112 games with Nanaimo from 2014-16) has been assigned to the Wichita Thunder of the ECHL by the Bakersfield Condors of the American Hockey League.
Kaldis, 25, signed with Bakersfield last May after four years at Cornell University, the final one as captain of the Big Red.
He was loaned by the Condors to Dornbirner EC of the ICE Hockey League to start the 2020-21 season. ICEHL is the top professional hockey league in Austria.
In 34 games with Dornbirner, Kaldis posted two goals and 11 assists.

Forward Devin Brosseau (58 goals, 96 assists in 144 games with Nanaimo from 2013-16) has also been assigned by the Condors to the Thunder.
The 25-year-old from St. Lambert, Quebec, signed his first pro contract with Bakersfield in March 2020 after his season at Clarkson University ended.
Brosseau spent four years with Clarkson and won an NCAA championship with the Golden Knights in 2019.
He was also loaned by the Condors to Dornbirner EC to start this season and put up seven goals and 14 assists in 34 games in Austria.

Forward Blake Christensen (16 goals, 20 assists in 52 games with Wenatchee in 2015-16) is the third BCHL alumnus on the move from Bakersfield to Wichita.
He signed with the Condors last March as a college free agent after wrapping up his NCAA career at American International College as its all-time leading scorer.
Last October, the 25-year-old from Coral Springs, Florida, was loaned by Bakersfield to Manglerud of the Eliteserien, which is the top tier of hockey in Norway.
Christensen played 10 games with Manglerud and finished with four goals and five assists.

Forward Nick Martino (four goals, nine assists in 42 games with Salmon Arm in 2019-20) has committed to play NCAA hockey for Army and attend school at the US Military Academy.
The 2000-born forward from Glenolden, Pennsylvania is playing for the Amarillo Bulls of the North American Hockey League this season and is their captain.
In 17 games for the Bulls, Martino has three goals and nine assists.
