Former Penticton defenceman Cumiskey inks AHL deal for the rest of 2019-20

Defenceman Kyle Cumiskey (11 goals, 12 assists in 66 games with Penticton from 2002-03) has been signed to an AHL deal with the Binghamton Devils through the end of the 2019-20 season. Cumiskey, 33, has played 18 games with Binghamton this season and posted two goals and five assists.

Former Grizzlies forward Morley signs extension in Norway

Forward David Morley (25 goals, 51 assists in 52 games with Victoria in 2010-11) has signed a contract extension with the Stavanger Oilers of the Norwegian Hockey League through 2021-22.  Morley has 21 goals and 29 assists in 31 games with the Oilers this season, his fourth playing in Norway.

Former Alberni, Victoria, and Cowichan forward Powell called up to AHL

Forward Myles Powell (44 goals, 64 assists in 151 games with Alberni Valley, Victoria and Cowichan Valley from 2011-14) has been recalled by the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the AHL from the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL. Powell, who’s an alternate captain for the Nailers, has six goals and 14 assists in 19 ECHL games this season.
