Clippers forward Agriogianis commits to Northeastern University

Forward Steven Agriogianis is the 12th member of the Nanaimo Clippers to commit to an NCAA school. The 20-year-old is set to attend Northeastern University this fall and play for the Huskies. Agriogianis had 17 goals and 22 assists in 51 games with Nanaimo this season.

Clippers forward Bourne named BCHL Player of the Week

Nanaimo Clippers forward Josh Bourne was announced as the BCHL Player of the Week on Monday. Bourne put up three goals and five assists in two games as the Clippers jumped out to a 2-0 lead in their first round playoff series against Alberni Valley.

 

Bucks announce inagural hockey school

The Cranbrook Bucks announced their first ever hockey school ahead of their inaugural BCHL season. The hockey school is set for August 24 – 28 at Western Financial Place in Cranbrook.

Former Cents blueliner Clifford traded in the ECHL

Defenceman Jake Clifford (12 goals, 32 assists in 102 games with Merritt from 2013-15) was traded in the ECHL on Monday from the Tulsa Oilers to the Florida Everblades.

Clifford had four goals and nine assists in 49 games with the Oilers this season.

Former Vees forward Conway sent back to ECHL by Providence

Forward Scott Conway (56 goals, 60 assists in 56 games with Penticton in 2015-16) has been reassigned from the Providence Bruins of the AHL to the Atlanta Gladiators of the ECHL.

Conway has three goals and two assists in 13 games with the Bruins this season to go along with 16 goals and 16 assists in 36 games with the Gladiators.
