Trail Smoke Eaters goaltender Logan Terness unveiled the full video behind his mask design for the 2020-21 season. The design was chosen in part from a contest conducted by the 2002-born netminder, who is the reigning BCHL rookie of the year, and the Smoke Eaters.

The Merritt Centennials announced details of their annual general meeting on Wednesday. The meeting is on Thursday, August 20 at 6:30 pm, with a 50-person maximum due to COVID-19 attendance restrictions.
The Centennials are owned and run by a registered non-profit society and as such, required to hold a general meeting each year featuring reports from its executive, directors, and members.

The Cranbrook Bucks put a call out for volunteers and billets on Wednesday. The Bucks are preparing for their inaugural season in the BCHL as the league’s 18th franchise.
Much like every other junior hockey franchise, the Bucks are reliant on volunteers and billets as their lifeblood. Here’s hoping that some of the fans of the former Kootenay Ice return to the rink in Cranbrook to help out the Bucks.

West Kelowna Warriors athletic therapist Michael Bois posted on Twitter that the ice is going back in at Royal LePage Place. While some communities around the province are wondering when the ice will return to their arenas, the ice going in at the Warriors home rink is a good sign.

Enio Sacilotto (head coach in Merritt in 1983-84 and GM/head coach in Penticton from 1994-97) has been hired by BC Hockey to be the head coach of the Valley North West Hawks of U15 AAA league.
Sacilotto, who in addition to coaching in the BCHL has coached in the Western Hockey League and all over Europe, spent the 2019-20 season as the head coach of the West Van Academy Elite 15s of the Canadian Sport School Hockey League.
