Wenatchee Wild defenseman Tanner Main announced his commitment to NCAA Division I Bentley University for 2021-22 via his Twitter account on Friday night. He is the 12th member of this season’s Wild roster to commit to an NCAA program.
He will return to Wenatchee for his 20-year-old season in 2020-21 before joining Wild teammate Drew Bavaro at Bentley. Main, who’s from Welland, Ontario, is the third player in the team’s BCHL era to commit to Bentley following Bavaro and Matt Gosiewski.
Including the Wild’s previous franchise in the North American Hockey League, Main is the fourth player overall to commit to Bentley.
USCHO's Atlantic Hockey columnists doled out some end of season awards.

As a freshman in 2019-20, Gosiewski had ten goals and 14 assists in 35 games for Bentley and was named rookie of the year by the USCHO’s Atlantic Hockey columnists. He played a single season with Wenatchee in 2018-19 compiling 28 goals and 23 assists in 50 games. In the playoffs, he put up four goals and seven assists in 18 games.
