The Penticton Vees have acquired 2001-born goaltender Kaleb McEachern from the Melville Millionaires of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League for future considerations.
McEachern actually hails from Penticton so the trade is a homecoming for him. He had an 0-2 record with a 4.53 goals-against-average and a .888 save percentage in two games with the Mills this season.
As a rookie in 2019-20, he played 18 games in Melville and finished with a 1-12-1 record along with a 4.52 goals-against-average and a .886 save percentage.
McEachern was selected in the 5th round, 94th overall by the Medicine Hat Tigers in the 2016 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.
