The Coquitlam Express have added forward Dante Berretoni from the Vancouver NE Chiefs of the BC Major Midget League for the upcoming season.
Berretoni, a 17-year-old from Burnaby, BC, had 28 goals and 24 assists in 40 games for the Chiefs in 2019-20. His 28 goals was tops in the BCMML.
He also played a game with the Surrey Eagles as an affiliate last season, going pointless in a game against the Express on February 19.

First Star: Brooks forward Brandon Scanlin had a goal and an assist as the Bandits beat Prince George 3-1 in the tenth game of the preliminary round at the 2019 National Junior A Championship.
Second Star: Bandits forward Andrew Lucas scored the winning goal 7:11 into the third period.
Third Star: Spruce Kings forward Nick Poisson scored his team’s lone goal of the game with 1:07 left in the second period.
Honourable Mentions: Prince George goaltender Logan Neaton made 28 saves. Spruce Kings defenseman Dylan Anhorn set up Poisson’s marker. Bandits goaltender Pierce Charleson stopped 21 shots.
