Defenseman Dennis Cholowski (16 goals, 51 assists in 106 games with Chilliwack from 2014-16) has been recalled by the Detroit Red Wings from their taxi squad.
Cholowski, who was chosen 20th overall by Detroit in the 2016 NHL Draft, has appeared in one game for the Red Wings this season.
He also has three goals and eight points in 11 games with Grand Rapids of the American Hockey League.

Goaltender Hunter Miska (53-21-5 with a 2.03 GAA, a .924 SV%, and seven shutouts in 80 games with Penticton from 2013-15) has been assigned to the Colorado Eagles of the AHL by the Colorado Avalanche.
The 25-year-old from Stacy, Minnesota is 1-1-2 with a 4.16 goals-against-average and a .838 save percentage in five games with the Avalanche this season.
He’s appeared in one game with the Eagles as well this season, stopping 27 of 28 shots in a 3-1 win against Tuscon on Feb. 24.

Defenseman Adam Plant (12 goals, 53 assists in 104 games with West Kelowna from 2012-14) has signed a two-year contract extension with IF Björklöven of HockeyAllsvenskan, the second tier of pro hockey in Sweden.
The 25-year-old from Penticton has two goals and five points in 29 games this season, his second in Europe. The contract extension keeps him with Björklöven through the end of the 2022-23 season.

Ben Walter (37 goals, 69 assists in 100 games with Langley from 2000-02) will return next season as the head coach of the North Island Silvertips of the BC U18 AAA League.
The 36-year-old is entering his third season with the Silvertips. Walter also joined the Nanaimo Clippers as a skills coach last May.
