Because of the current restrictions in place from the Public Health Officer, the Surrey Eagles have shifted the dates of their spring identification camp from April 2 – 4 to July 2 – 4.
The camp is at the South Surrey Arena and details are available here.

The Trail Smoke Eaters have signed 2002-born defenseman Carson Golder for the 2020-21 BC Hockey League season.
The Smithers, BC product had an assist in two games with the Campbell River Storm of the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League this season.
He had a pair of assists in 50 Western Hockey League games with the Victoria Royals in 2019-20. Golder also played one game in the BCHL as an affiliate player with Vernon in 2018-19.
De Jong in the running for ECAC defensive forward honours

Quinnipiac University forward Ethan De Jong (22 goals, 73 assists in 102 games with Prince George from 2015-18) was named a finalist for the ECAC best defensive forward award on Wednesday.
The 21-year-old from North Vancouver, BC has 14 goals and 28 points in 27 games with the Bobcats this season.

22-year-old defenseman Zach Metsa (three goals, 24 assists in 57 games with Merritt in 2016-17), who is in his third year at Quinnipiac University, is a finalist for the ECAC best defensive defenseman award.
The Delafield, Wisconsin product has posted five goals and 25 points in 27 games with Quinnipiac this season.
