Bulldogs get a commitment from Buhr

The Alberni Valley Bulldogs added some firepower to their line-up with the signing of forward Brandon Buhr for next season.
Buhr, 17, played this past season with the West Van Academy Prep team and posted 33 goals and 38 assists in 34 games.
The Burnaby product added one assist in three games with the West Kelowna Warriors as an affiliate player. He also got into three playoff games with the Warriors and had one assist.
Buhr played one BCHL game in 2018-19 with Coquitlam as an AP. He committed to the Nanaimo Clippers in April 2019 but returned to midget instead.

The Langley Rivermen got a commitment from forward Seamus Campbell on Saturday. The 18-year-old posted 15 goals and 16 assists in 47 games with the St. Louis Junior Blues of the NA3HL in 2019-20.
Campbell, whose dad Jim played 285 career NHL games, also played 12 games with Kirkwood High School and put up seven goals and nine assists.
He got into five games with the Springfield Junior Blues of the NAHL and scored one goal. Campbell is committed to attend Quinnipiac University in September 2021.

Second Star: Burnaby forward Geoff Irwin had a goal and an assist in a 5-4 win over Victoria in game four of the Coastal Conference final.
Third Star: Silverbacks forward Matt Dyck scored twice in the loss to the Vees.
Honourable Mentions: Salsa forward Garry Nunn had a goal and an assist. Express forwards Mark Santorelli and Tyler McNeely along with Salmon Arm forward Darcy Zajac each had two assists.
