BCHL Bulletin: Tinling heads to Slovakia, Soulière extends with Glasgow, and more

Making the jump to Slovakia, Dovar Tinling has transferred from the Adirondack Thunder to HC Nove Zamky for 2026-27. The 23-year-old Pointe-Claire, Québec native skated for the Penticton Vees during the 2022-23 season, tallying 17 goals, 30 assists, and 47 points in 43 games. He posted seven goals and nine assists in 35 games with RPI in 2025-26 before joining Adirondack in the ECHL for four games.
Veteran forward Brady Shaw has departed HC Innsbruck for personal reasons, after signing with the Austrian club in March. The 33-year-old Ottawa, Ontario native played for the Penticton Vees, Coquitlam Express, and Surrey Eagles from 2011 to 2013. He notched 71 goals, 68 assists, and 139 points in 113 career BCHL games. Shaw recorded 19 goals and 31 assists for 50 points in 47 games with Ferencvárosi TC of the ICE Hockey League during 2025-26.
Following a brief ECHL stint, Ethan Langenegger has signed with Nantes in France for the 2026-27 season. The 25-year-old Kamloops, BC native guarded the crease for the Salmon Arm Silverbacks from 2017 to 2020. His BCHL career encompasses 80 games with a 42-32-4 record, a 2.99 goals-against average, a .908 save percentage, and three shutouts. He has a 5.15 goals-against average and a .792 save percentage in one game for the Orlando Solar Bears this past season.
Heading to the NCAA ranks, Jack O’Brien has committed to Sacred Heart University from the Maine Nordiques of the North American Hockey League. The 2005-born Kennebunk, Maine product patrolled the blue line as a defender for the Cranbrook Bucks in 2024-25. He registered one goal, six assists, and seven points over 23 games that season. O’Brien tallied two goals and four assists in 21 games with the Nordiques in 2025-26. He also appeared in one game for Dubuque of the USHL and 16 games with Soo of the Ontario Hockey League.
Securing the crease in Scotland, Liam Soulière has signed a contract extension with the Glasgow Clan of the U.K.’s Elite Ice Hockey League. The 27-year-old Brampton, Ontario native played for the Victoria Grizzlies during the 2019-20 season, posting a 9-6-0 record with a 3.37 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage. He compiled a 2.70 goals-against average and a .912 save percentage in 14 games for the Glasgow in 2025-26. Soulière started the season with four games in the ECHL with the Toledo Walleye.
