Jeff Dubois, who served as Alberni Valley Bulldogs assistant GM and assistant coach from 2017-19, is the new commissioner of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League.
Dubois spent the 2019-20 season as GM and head coach of the Comox Valley Glacier Kings of the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League. He was also Director of Communications for the BCHL from 2007-10.

Nic Pierog (40 goals, 33 assists in 112 games with Surrey and Penticton from 2012-14) is back in the AHL after being recalled to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
The forward has 22 goals and 13 assists in 48 ECHL games this season with the Worcester Railers. He’s added a goal and an assist in six games with the Sound Tigers.

Defenceman Josh Teves (five goals, 28 assists in 57 games with Merritt in 2014-15) has been assigned from the Utica Comets of the AHL to the Kalamazoo Wings of the ECHL.
Teves has two assists in 26 games with the Comets this season. He’s also added a goal and an assist in two games with the Wings.

Second Star: Vees forward Danny Weight had a goal and two assists.
Third Star: Penticton forward Colton Kalezic tallied three assists.
Honourable Mentions:Vees forward Jay O’Brien notched a goal and an assist. Penticton goaltender Yaniv Perets stopped 22 shots.
