The Chiliwack Chiefs have added 2002-born forward Frankie Carogioiello for the 2020-21 season. The Woodbridge, Ontario product had 17 goals and 41 assists in 63 games with St. Andrew’s College.
Carogioiello is ranked 215th overall by McKeen’s Hockey for the 2020 NHL Entry Draft and committed to Miami University Ohio for September 2021.
He also played 10 games with Toronto Junior Canadiens of the Ontario Junior Hockey League and had a goal and four assists.

The Prince George Spruce Kings responded to Prince George council’s decision on Monday to keep Rolling Mix Concrete Arena, among other rinks in the city, closed until the end of 2020.
In the statement, Spruce Kings general manager Mike Hawes indicates the team will move some of its planned activities to Kin 1 Arena, which is one of those set to open in Prince George in August. Those activities include the team’s annual hockey school.

The Penticton Vees announced on Twitter that they are broadcasting the 2012 RBC Cup Final on their YouTube channel this Friday at 7 pm.
The Vees beat the Woodstock Slammers 4-3 in the final game on a goal by forward Joey Benik with 51.3 seconds left in the third period.

Forward Brayden Gelsinger (51 goals, 104 assists in 169 games with Cowichan Valley, West Kelowna, and Victoria from 2013-16) signed with the ECHL’s Utah Grizzlies for the 2020-21 season.
The 25-year-old from Regina, Saskatchewan just finished his four year career at Lake Superior State University where he had 64 points in 125 NCAA games.

Defenseman Ben Masella (three goals, 10 assists in 56 games with Chilliwack in 2012-13) signed a contract extension with the Florida Everblades of the ECHL for the 2020-21 season.
Masella, 27, is entering his fourth ECHL season and third with the Everblades. He had two goals and 28 assists in 50 games with Florida in 2019-20.

Forward Ben Maxwell (two games with Surrey in 2003-04) is back with the SCL Tigers of the Swiss National League for 2020-21.
The 32-year-old from North Vancouver had 16 goals and 17 assists in 48 games with the Tigers this past season, which is his seventh overseas.

28-year-old Mark MacMillan (47 goals, 90 assists in 99 games with Alberni Valley and Penticton from 2009-11) is back in Denmark for 2020-21 after signing an extension with Herning Blue Fox.
MacMillan, a Penticton native, had 11 goals and 22 assists in 42 games with the Blue Fox in 2019-20.
