The British Columbia Hockey League has released the 2019-20 regular season schedule where each team will play 58 games. 28 at home, 28 on the road, plus two games will be played at the BCHL Showcase presented by Bauer.

The Langley Rivermen will kick off the 2019 season opening up at home on Saturday, September 7th vs the Coquitlam Express, puck drop is at 7:15 PM. However the die hard Rivermen fans will have Sunday, September 8th circled on their calendar as the Chilliwack Chiefs pay a visit to The Lodge for an afternoon affair. This will be a rematch to last years first round playoff match up which saw the Chiefs come back from being down 3-0 in the series and win in Game 7.
The Rivermen will play eight games in the month of September, six of which will be at home. The two road games will be played in Surrey against the Eagles. September 21st will be a key game for the Rivermen as it will see the defending BCHL Champions the Prince George Spruce Kings come to town for a Saturday night showdown.
October will see an 11 game schedule including the BCHL Showcase presented by Bauer. Here the Rivermen will play two games at the Prosepera Centre in Chilliwack against two Island foes, the Cowichan Valley Capitals and the Powell River Kings.

November is also an 11 game month, Langley will make its first trip up north, playing two games in Prince George. They then close out the month with a road trip to Salmon Arm and Wenatchee.
Langley has a very favorable month of December seeing them play six out of the seven games at home. The last game before Christmas break will be December 23rd where the Spruce Kings are back in town.
2020 starts with a bang. The first game after holidays will have the Spruce Kings back in town on January 3rd. The Rivermen will be on the road nine times in January which includes a three-game weekend on the Island playing the Clippers (Jan. 24th), Bulldogs (Jan. 25th) and the Kings (Jan. 26th).
The last month of the season will see the team playing 10 games, finishing up against the Chiefs on February 23rd. However February 15th and 16th will see the Rivermen make a rare trip up north to Kitimat, BC where they will play back to back games against the Spruce Kings in the debut of the new LNG Canada BCHL Road Show.
