The Salmon Arm Silverbacks, Powell River Kings, and Ottawa Jr. Senators of the Central Canada Hockey League are all part of what amounts to essentially a three-way trade on Monday.
First, the Silverbacks sent 2002-born forwards Braden Fischer and Philippe Jacques to the Kings for 2002-born forward Brandon Santa Juana.
Then, Powell River shipped Jacques to the Jr. Senators for 2003-born forward Kaleb Nelson.

Clippers bring in RPI commit Itagaki for 2021-22
The Nanaimo Clippers announced the signing of 2002-born forward Max Itagaki for the 2021-22 season on Monday.
Itagaki, who’s from Glenville, IL, had 15 goals and 43 points in 73 games for the Janesville Jets of the North American Hockey League over the last two seasons.
He is committed to attending Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute to play NCAA hockey starting in September 2022. Itagaki was also selected in the 9th round, 139th overall, by the Lincoln Stars in the 2018 US Hockey League Futures Draft.

Goaltender Tanner Marshall (18-29-2, 4.53 goals-against-average, .880 save percentage in 57 games with Trail and Merritt from 2017-20) has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey at Aurora University this fall.
The 21-year-old Kelowna, BC product spent the 2020-21 season with the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League’s Humboldt Broncos, compiling a 2-1-0 record along with a 2.68 goals-against-average and a .914 save percentage in three games.
